With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Whitney of South Berwick, Maine, born in Caribou, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Holmes and Marjorie Holmes (Rossignol); her siblings, Carroll Holmes and Phoebe Stone; and her sister-in-law Janet Rogers.
She is survived by: her friend Shirley; her daughters, Sandra Whitney (John), Kirstie McGary (Rob) and Anne Gray (Nick); her grandchildren, Travis Thibeau, Gaige Thibeau, Brayden McGary, Kayla McGary, Robbie Caligiure, Isabella Gray and Grace Gray; and her siblings, Brenda Swanson (Robert), Judy Brom (Randy) and William Holmes (Nora). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many other family members and dear friends.
