He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver E. Petterson and Lillian Petterson (Wagner); his wife Rita Agnes McInnis; his son Bruce Wayne; and his sisters, Edythe McNutt, Louise Larrabee and Constance Fitch.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Robert (Debra) of Paxton, MA and Donna R. Lind (David); his grandsons, Eric R., Jr. and William Eric; and his sister Audrey Howard of Kingston, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
