He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvard Tate and Marguerite Tate (Batchelder); his sisters, Mildred Balthis and Sandra Blackwell; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbert Campbell and Alton Chesley.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Tate (Walker); his children, Nancy (Chris Keane) of Charleston, Albert of Corinth, Donald (Cheryl) of Newport and MaryAnn Tate of Skowhegan, ME.; his grandchildren, Ashleigh and Nick Randall; his great grandchildren, Addyson and Alayna; his granddaughter Jessica; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Rylee; his grandson Mark Smith; his great grandchildren, Eastyn, Kolsyn, Oaklyn and Ezlyn; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Madison and Mackenzie Damon; and his sisters, Lois Crane, Hildred Chesley and Pearl Campbell.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the United Methodist Church of Corinth or the Corinth Fire Department.
