It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ann Alward Laney (Skowhegan, Maine), born in Hartland, Maine, who passed away on May 10, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry and Betty; her sister Jan Maddocks; her brother-in-law Peter Laney; and her father-in-law Anthony Laney.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her sons, Samuel (Krista Longnecker) and Matthew (Reiko); her granddaughter Kimberlee; her brother John Alward (Frances); her mother-in-law June Laney; and her brothers-in-law, Brian Maddocks, Stephen Laney (Linda), James Laney (Carole), William Laney (Cindy), Michael Laney and Timothy Laney (Suzanne). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Judy has requested contributions be sent to either the Armand Breton Scholarship or the Jack Fortier Scholarship, through the SAHS Guidance Office, care of Jane Bigelow, 61 Academy Circle, Skowhegan, ME 04976.
