She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Moody and Vivian Moody (Crockett). She is survived by: her husband Donald Nickerson; her sons, Bruce (Lori), Stephen (Eileen) and Darrin (Donna); her grandchildren, Ashlee Savage (John), Bobbi Folsom (David), Ryan (Katrina), Randi Mae Folsom, Glenn Nickerson (Mercedes) and Vincent Cook (Tiffany); and her sisters, Joyce Watson, Irma Swain (Malcolm), Orrinette Spooner and Arline Berube (Hector). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Norridgewock in Darlene's memory.
