It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth J. Cyr in Sinclair, Maine, born in Fort Kent, Maine, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Fernand Cyr; and his father-in-law Romain LaPointe. He is survived by: his mother Rowena Cyr (Thibeault); his wife Rose Cyr (LaPointe) of Caribou; his son Derrian Near of Sherman; his siblings, Deanna Cyr of South Portland, Steven Cyr of Missouri, Trina Rocha of Colorado and Ryan Cyr (Jennifer) of South Portland; his stepchildren, Janelle O'Bar (Tim) and Bryant Kerna; his stepgrandchildren, Sutton, Avery, Beckett and Finley O'Bar; his mother-in-law Jeannette LaPointe; and his siblings-in-law, Gene of Caribou and Sue Saunders of Caribou. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
