He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Melvin Sr. and Mildred Melvin (Goodwin); his brother David Williams; and his great grandchild Natalie Rose Crocker. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jean Melvin (Roux) of Shapleigh; his children, Robert Leroy "Robby" Melvin (Jessica) of Alfred, Tammy Ferne Wilkins (Kevin) of Alfred and Tracy Leigh Melvin (Nathan Stone) of Alfred; his sisters, Judy Cleveland and Joyce Lemelin of Florida; his grandchildren, Joshua, Melissa, Brittany, Alissa, Alexis, Eliza, Brayden, Evan and Cody; and his nieces and nephews, Briella, Maddilynn, Levi, Aiden, Caleb and Gavyn.
