He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown and Bessie Brown; his brother Kendall; and his daughter Lori Vacchiano. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Lord Brown; his children, Pamela (Robert Kimbrough), Deborah (Charles Mullins), David (Liz) and James (Dawn); and his brother Clayton Brown. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
