It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Withee (Searsmont, Maine), born in Swans Island, Maine, who passed away on September 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman Withee to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Withee and Iris V. Withee (Hamblen); his wife Joyce Withee of Searsmont; his siblings, Janice Cole (Richie) of Deer Isle, Jeanette Staples (Alfred) of Belfast, Alice Gross of Stonington and Leon Conary (John McGarvey) of Florida; and his great-nephew Evan Morse.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Owen Gross of Stonington and Pauline Hill of Searsmont; his children, Mark Withee (Bonnie Flaherty) of Gouldsboro and Valerie Nielsen (Ronald) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Kurt Nielsen (Leah) of Bath, Erika Simonson (Kyle) of Freeport and Michelle Withee (Kevin Alley) of Dedham; and his great grandchildren, Max and Kinsley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
