With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Joseph Horvath of Scarborough, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 77. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stephen Joseph leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Henson; his pet Sadie; his siblings, Luke and Carolyn; his brother-in-law John; his nieces, Leah and Rebecca (Rick); his nephew David; his great-nieces, Maddy, Meredith and Amelia; and his great-nephew Quinn.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Margaret's Catholic Church (6 Saco Ave, Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064).
