As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Stephen Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Love and Nathaniel Love. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Love; his children, Jeremy (Hope) and Sarah (Jon); his granddaughter Autumn; his stepgranddaughter Mazie; and his siblings, Helen and Charles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (671 US-1, Scarborough, ME 04074). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
