With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Ward of Scarborough, Maine, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew P. Ward and Grace Mary Neiderer Ward. He is survived by: his wife Emily Ward (Gilhooley); and his siblings, Thomas M. Ward (Carol A. Ward), Joseph T. Ward (Candy Lee), James E. Ward and Sara Jane Tufo (Joseph A. Tufo). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
