He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ralph Hirtle and Janice Hirtle (Bird); his wife Margaret "Margo" Hirtle (Grimaldi); and his son Daniel Hirtle. He is survived by: his stepson Joseph (Ashley); his stepgrandchildren, Gavin, Kai, Stella and Connor; and his siblings, David (Nancy), Bryan and Beth-Ann (Chip Barrett).
