We bid farewell to George Anthony Bonaventure of Scarborough, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 97. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Rita B. Bonaventure (Jacob); and his parents, Joseph Bonaventure and Marie L. Bonaventure (Robichaud). He is survived by: his children, Celeste Pascarella (Michael) of Pownal, ME and Francis "Frank" Bonaventure (Amy) of Cape Neddick, ME; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Zoe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church (358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
