He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Adolph, Anne Chaplick of Hudson, NH, A. Everett and Anne M. Goodhue of Quincy, MA.. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel A Chaplick and Virginia Chaplick (Goodhue) of Topsfield; his children, Daniel J, Olivia G and Aidan J Chaplick of Scarborough; his sibling Gail A Chaplick of Bradford, MA; and also Alice M Chaplick (Catera). He is also survived by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, and longtime friends.

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund in Danny's name is being established through Go Fund Me at or you may contribute to the charity of your choice.

“I recently learned that Dan, Olivia and Aidan lost their Dad. My heart goes out to the family. I had the privilege of having younger Dan as a student for his middle school years. Last school year I had another awesome year with Aidan. My husband, Bruce was their Bus Driver and enjoyed talking to the kids and Dan Sr.. I lost my father as a young adult. It was hard. I often felt it just wasn't fair. I realize now that he lives on through me and my children. I hope the same for all of you.”
