He is survived by: his parents, Barrett Nuite of Sangerville and Lynn Dyer of Sangerville; his stepsister Michelle Deny of Nova Scotia; his grandmothers, Myrna Johnson of Sangerville and Sally Nuite of Sangerville; his uncles, Lori-Jean Bishop, Tim Bishop, Lance Johnson, Lorie Johnson, Leisha MacDougall, Andy MacDougall, Lewis Nuite, Loretta Nuite, George Nuite, Blaine Nuite, Janette Nuite, Warren Nuite, Catrina Nuite, Melynn Nuite, Maradee Jacoby and Jim Jacoby; his significant other Amber Jusczak; his friends, Christian Mumley, Doran LaBree and Ethan Cooley; and also Mark Dyer of Sangerville.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a scholarship fund in Mitchell's name at the Piscataquis Community High School, 9 Campus Drive, Guilford, Maine 04443.
