He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Baird and Edna Baird (Stevens); and his brother Bruce Baird. He is survived by: his wife Judy Baird (Easler); his son Jacob Baird; and his siblings, Harold Baird, Roger Baird, Kurt Baird, Carol Currier, Carla Bragan, Linda Santiago and Elaine Staks. He is also survived by one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
