She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel Jose and Maria Vieira Cabeceira (Duarte); her husband Jose Gereonimo (Branco) of Freitas; her grandson Alex DeFreitas; her son-in-law Lino Rocha; her children, Teresa Escobar (Luis), Noemia Rocha, Manuel DeFreitas (Ilda), Jose Antonio Freitas (Alaide Costa Silva), Gilberto Freitas (Tracy Belanger) and Maria Jacinta DeNoronha (Jose Lasaro DeNoronha); her daughter-in-law Belina Freitas; and her grandchildren, Jorge, Jerry, Jesse, Lesley, Denny, Jillian, Ronaldo, Carolina, Natalie and Antonio. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
