He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J Gillis Jr. and Leta Eloise Gillis; and his sister Jan Gillis. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Gillis-Grant and Leta Gillis; his children, Joshua (Holly Gillis) of Sanford, ME and Melissa (Jeremy Henson) of Pueblo West, CO; and his grandchildren, Lily Gillis, Maisie Gillis, Joshua Jurek and Juliet Henson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
