He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Sylvain and Clarisse Sylvain (Fournier); his wife Theresa Sylvain (Lesperance); his children, Carol S. Frieswick (Bruce), Bernard R. Sylvain (Carol) and Richard P. Sylvain (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Sylvain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
