We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 93, Maria Wiersma of Sanford, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Maria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the First Parish Cemetery (180 York St, York, ME 03909).
