He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph; his siblings, Bobby DeSilva and Nancy Thompson; his wife Helena Valley DeSilva of Sanford; his mother Doris DeSilva of Saco; his children, Peter Forbes (Marguerite) of Saco, David Forbes (Robin) of Saco and Brenda Vail (Daniel) of Bridgton; his siblings, Ronnie DeSilva, David DeSilva, Joyce Valley and Betty Rowe; his grandchildren, Dave, Megan, Michael and Ethan; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Logan.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the American Legion Post 26, 508 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
