With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Edwin Padgett of Sanford, Maine, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin and JoAnne "Morgan" Padgett; his stepfather Gail Morrison; and his stepbrother Michael "Mike" Morrison. He is survived by: his friend Tracey Rogers of Springvale, ME; his stepchildren, Stephanie [Rich] Simpson of Sanford, ME, Zachary [Francine] Murray of Clover, SC and Brittany [Javier] Angeles of Aiken, SC; his siblings, Randall [Vickie] Padgett of Aiken, SC and Melissa "Missy" [Steve] Hammett of Evans, GA; and his stepsiblings, Matthew [Sharon] Morrison of Donaldsonville, GA, Dusty [Judy] Lynch of Buckhannon, WV, Sandy Morrison of Aiken, SC and Elizabeth Faye Morrison of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
