He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Darling and Ethel Darling; his stepfather John Nystrom; and his pet Teddy. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Jean Vasso; his son Michael (Amanda) of Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Talbot of Rockland, Pamela Vasso of Spruce Head and Joey Della Valle of Portland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Denny's memory to St. Jude's or Pope Memorial Humane society.
