He is survived by: his wife Rita Teele Simmons of St. George; his son Steven Simmons (Teressa) of Bradenton, Florida; his brothers, Neil (Rayetta) of Waldoboro and Mark (Reah) of Waldoboro; and his sister-in-law Jean Simmons of St. George. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
