He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilman Hartt and Rachel Hartt (Giggey); his goddaughter April Hartt; his brother Rodney Hartt (Armande); his parents-in-law, Claude and Marion Pelletier (Michaud); and his brother-in-law Lowell Guerrette (Alethea).
He is survived by: his wife Marie Hartt (Pelletier); his children, Tracey Hartt (Evelyn) of Fort Kent, Trisha (Hartt), Caron (Steven) of Fort Kent and Keisha Hartt-Donovan (Andrew) of Hampden; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jaren, Elliot, Tate, Oliver, Giana, Wes and Avery; his siblings, Barbara McMullen (Larson) of Northville, MI and Gary Hartt (Gladys) of St. Francis; and his siblings-in-law, Armande Hartt (Beaulieu) of Madawaska, Alethea Guerrette (Pelletier) of Fort Kent and Charles Pelletier (Danielle "Dee") of Bangor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
