He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortuna Dufour and Rose-Anna Dufour (Cyr); his son Michael Dufour; and his siblings, Alderic, Armand, Cecile, Germaine and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dufour (Beaulieu); his children, Gisele (Adrien Violette), Gil Dufour Jr. and Kevin Dufour; his grandchildren, Bertin (Melanie), Melanie and France (Brock); and his great grandchildren, Felix, Jayden and Mason. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
