He is survived by: his parents, Felix Cyr and Lena Cyr (Ayotte); his spouse Theresa Landry of Baker Brook, NB; his children, Mariette Gimmartino of Rocky Hill, CT, Real Cyr of Millinocket, Louise Tapley of Brewer, Janette (Howard Cunningham), Alan (Dee Cyr) and Gail Lapoint; his grandson James McLean Jr; and his sons-in-law, Jesse Gimmartino and Leonard LaPoint. He is also survived by children, 13 great-grand children, one sister, and four brothers.
Gilbert passed after a ten-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
