Rita Collins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Collins of Saint Agatha, Maine, born in Saint David, Maine, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Xavier Dufour and Annie Dufour (Picard); her son Paul; her husband Bertrand; and her siblings, Marie Louise Gagnon, Ann Marie Malloy, Therese Albert, Simone Gagnon, Cecile Pozzuto, Claude and Jean Paul Dufour.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Therese) of Bradenton, FL, Elaine Cyr (Philip) of St. Agatha and Patrice Jalbert (Michael) of St. Agatha; and her sister Bernadette Hein of Bellevue, WA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rita Collins' memory may be made to Our Lady of the Valley Memorial Fund, Long Lake Public Library, or the St. Agatha Historical Society.
