It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Chasse of Saint Agatha, Maine, born in Saint Joseph, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denis H. Couturier and Marie Anne Couturier (Martin); her husband Benoit Chasse; and her sons, Yvon and Rino.
She is survived by: her children, Anita (Tom Bava) of Naples, FL, Gerard (Judy) of St. Agatha, Roger (Eileen) of St. Agatha, Ronald of Bristol, CT, Louise (Michael Bither) of Freeport and Thérèse (Gaetan Rossignol) of St. Agatha; her daughter-in-law Ruth Harquail (Rino) of Edmundston, NB; her sister Georgianne Fongemie of Madawaska; and her sisters-in-law, Alma Mathieu of Lewiston and Artheline Vyr of Lewiston. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
