She is survived by: her children, Christina Shaw Jacobsen (Shawn Jacobsen) and Jere Shaw; her grandchild Severin David Shaw; her sister Joanna Karvonides Nkosi (Morley); her nieces and nephews, Mandla (Camila) and Thenjiwe (Daniel); her nieces and nephews, Chrisi, Nicholas, Mia and Homer; and also, Lumuka and Irena Zaburanna.
