It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel C. Allen of Saco, Maine, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Leola Allen (Duley); his son Mark Allen; and his siblings, John Allen, June Parella, Sandra Condarino and Esther Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Savasta; his children, Matthew Allen, Nancy Soule-Theriault and Lorraine Alden; his stepdaughters, Tonia Letellier and Teresa Plummer; his grandchildren, Dave, Max, Jazz, Kiera, Gabriel, Travis, Dillan, Josiah, Jacob, Benjamin and Nathaniel; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Bryce, Rhys, Owen, Gabriel, Rocco and Kaito; and his sisters, Josie Levesque and Shirley Keener.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home - Buxton (13 Portland Rd, Buxton, ME 04093). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dyer Library at 371 Main Street, Saco.
