She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald; and her brothers, Jack McAllister and Leroy McAllister. She is survived by: her children, Mark Caron (Dee) and Lori Rioux (Jack) of Winthrop; her siblings, Julia (Burleigh Witham), Dennis McAllister (Sharon) and Terry McAllister (Susanne); her grandchildren, Devin, Jacob and Jonathan; and her brother-in-law Roger Caron (Joline). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sylvia enjoyed her Silver Sneakers classes at the Health Club in Lewiston, and was also very active with the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, making donations and volunteering.
