He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert and Roger. He is survived by: his parents, George Chick and Evelyn Chick (Dexter); his wife Caroline "Carrie" Chick (Greenwood); his children, Michael Chick (Elizabeth) of Birmingham, Richard J. Chick (Julie) of Cottondale, Ala., Jeffrey L. Chick (Lynda) of Childersberg, Ala. and Karen Chick Bates (Rick) of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Robert, Forrest, Bradley, Samantha Chick, Julia Price, Caroline Moss, Victoria Meade, Meghan Bates and Noah Bates; his stepgrandson L. J. White; and his great grandchildren, Ava Chick, Asher Price, Xander Moss, Penelope Moss, Cossie Meade and Fielding Meade.
