He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Harris Jones and Viola Marguerite Russ; and his siblings, Clarence, Elmer, Kenneth, Malcolm, Harold "Okie" Jones, Helen Jones Malley, Marcia Alice Jones Barkey and Esther Jones Nickerson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Herman Jones of Huachuca City and Nora Jones Babb of Plantersville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
