He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Quainton and Irving Haggett of Canterbury, Connecticut; his daughter Jean Marie of Connecticut; and his brother Michael Haggett of Canterbury. He is survived by: his wife Mae Haggett of Bethel; his children, Vincent Jr. of Lebanon, Connecticut, Brian, Brandy of Palm Bay, Florida, Samii of St. Paul and Michael of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Scottie of Connecticut, Morgan, Zackary of Florida, Zaquary and Vincent III of Danielson, Connecticut; and his siblings, Sandie Gauthier of Connecticut, Ellen DeMaio of Bethel, Hiram, Daniel and Thomas of Connecticut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Valley Bible Church (407 Flat Rd, Bethel, ME 04217). The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carey Cemetery (208 S Canterbury Rd, Canterbury, CT 06331).
