With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan R. Holmes (Rumford, Maine), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wells and Francis Wells; and her sister Carol Weber. She is survived by: her husband Jon Holmes; her children, Julie Dickson (Chris Dickson) of Rumford and Scott Holmes (Jennifer Holmes) of Dixfield; her grandchildren, Jordan Holmes of Auburn, Benjamin Holmes of Dixfield, Caleb Holmes of Bangor, Taylor Dickson of Portland and Samuel Holmes of Dixfield; her great grandchildren, Easton Lare of Auburn and Claire Cestaro; her sisters, Linda (Dannie Dudley) of Albany, NY. and Judy; and her brother-in-law Leonard Marco of Charlotte, NC..
In lieu of flowers the family asks a donation to the Dirigo Sports Boosters be made in her name at Dirigo High School, 145 Weld Street, Dixfield ME 04224.
