He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Grassette and Marguerite Grassette (Patrie); his siblings, Norman and Lorraine Grassette; and his mother-in-law Irene Leighton.
He is survived by: his pets, Jack and Jill; his wife Bonnie; his sons, Kevin, Scot (Cindy) and Keith Grassette; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn (Brendon Harrington), Amber Grassette (Elmer Murray) and Tasha Patenaude (Greg); his great grandchildren, Khloe, Garrett, Kollin, Wyatt and Jillian; his brother Leo (Kitty Grassette); his siblings-in-law, Barbara Grant and Joseph Barney Leighton; his cousin Kenneth Kennison (Donna); and his caregiver Youville Pavilion. He is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
