He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Murphy and Florence Murphy (Sanborn); and his siblings, Leonard Murphy and Katherine Paterson of Rumford. He is survived by: his friend E. I.; his wife Anita of South Rumford; his children, Scott W. Murphy of Weymouth, MA, Maynard Murphy II (Debra) of Cape Elizabeth, Florence Welch (Scott) of Jay, Brenda of Londonderry, NH, Mary Ellen Harrison (Tom) of Mexico and Lesa Nadeau (Paul) of Windham; his stepson Michael Jenkins of Mexico; and his sister Marlene Horne of Scarborough.
