She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Oscar" and Amelia Palmer (Marston); her husband Hugh Morton of Andover; her son Earl Cole Sr.; and her grandchildren, Sandra Cole and Peter Cole.

She is survived by: her former husband Arthur Cole; her sons, Arthur Cole Jr. of Rumford, James Cole (Paula) of Rumford and Elmer "Pete" Cole of East Andover; her grandson Raymond Cole (Shirley) of Standish; her daughters, Kathy Morton Cottle (Robin) of New Portland, Sharon Morton Dudley (Dana) of Phillips and Susan Morton (Rich Gay) of South Paris; her daughter-in-law Carmen Cole of Standish; her grandchildren, April, Jason, Earl Jr., Michael, Tracy, Jay, Shelley, Stacey, Corey, Donna, Jimmie, Joey, Kristen, Alex, Rebecca, Benjamin, Kendall, Sarah and Ryan; and her siblings, Harold Marston, Claude, Stanley, James, Raymond, Merton, Maurice Palmer and Alma Learned. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
