He is survived by: his children, Sharon Gates of Peru, ME, Rhonda Sperry (Greg) and Wayne McPhee (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Erik (Erika), Kori (Marshall), Nick, Brandy, Shane, Tara (Richard), Tyler (Brittany), Ahmed (Taya), Josh (Kristen), Aaron (Cait) and Zachary (Brianna). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
