It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine C. Morton (Rumford, Maine), who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jodrey, and Alice Jodrey, Sr. (Cole); and her siblings, John Jodrey, Jr., Kenneth Jodrey, Leroy Jodrey and Virginia Morton.
She is survived by: her children, Hanson Morton, Jr. of Andover, John Morton of Andover, Robert Morton of Andover, Dorothy Swan (Mike Hart) of Bethel, Cheryl Rockwood (Rick) of Hanover, Pamela Chartier (Daniel) of Georgia, Paula Miceli (Mike Perrault) of Rumford, Debra Gauvin (Rick) of Virginia and Betsy Morton of Bethel; her grandchildren, Rebecca Morton Gren, Kassie Cox, Rebecca Swan, Douglas Swan, Kyle Gauvin, Marissa Graffam, Kayla, Joseph Morton, Christopher, Bryan Morton, Corbin Salway, Alan and Ryan Theriault; her great grandchildren, Grady Swan, Mariah Morton, Avery Salway, Natalie, Hailey Morton, Parker Morton, Anniston Graffam, Octavia Jones, Layton Chapman, Jagger Salway and Dean Cox; and her siblings, Richard Jodrey (Rhonda) of Andover, Loretta Huston of Sanford, Roberta Pease of Rumford and Rosemary Taylor of Dayton, ME..
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meader & Son Funeral Home (3 Franklin St, Rumford, ME 04276). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Andover Congregational Church.
