He was predeceased by: his parents, Wirt Leckey and Mary Leckey (Erb); his son George; and his stepdaughter Christine Gosselin. He is survived by: his children, Karen Foust (Matt) of West Gardiner, John (Joyce) of Wilbraham, MA and Greg (Uschi) of Offenbach Germany; his stepdaughters, Pam Beaumont (Jim) of Merrimack, NH, Beth Amis of Norwood, MA and Julie Francey Collins (Drew) of Debary, FL; and his sister Diane Mann (Kent) of Mexico.
He was an avid participant in the American Lung Association's Trek Across Maine charity ride.
