It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Canwell in Roxbury, Maine, born in Rumford, Maine, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Canwell (John) and Isabel Canwell (Brown); his daughter Tracy Laubauskas (Bob); his grandchildren, Matthew Laubauskas (Kelsey), Ryan Laubauskas, Shannon Laubauskas (Cowen), Emily Laubauskas (Cliff), Ethan Laubauskas (Mariah), Michele Therriault-Staires, Nathan Staires (Jenni) and Justin Staires; his son-in-law Carey Staires; his great grandchildren, Finn Therriault and Carsyn Turner; his siblings, Randy Canwell (Rosmond Hodge) of Mexico, Carol Freeman of Mexico and Tim Canwell (Dawn) of Roxbury; and his pet Toby Keith. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
