He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Deanis and Alice Deanis (Sotman); his son Randall Deanis (Leslie); his grandchildren, Brock and Bronson; his son Gerald Deanis (Jerry); his stepmother Eleanor Ames; and his sisters, Phyllis Nicols, Sally Cloutier and Patty Boomhall.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Lang; his daughters, Jodie Wilson (Doug) of Bethel and Kimbalie Moore (Brad Hall) of Gorham, ME; his brother Barry Deanis (Cyndi) of Rumford; his grandchildren, Danna Wilson (Zach Louison) of Bethel, Dane Wilson of Bethel, Drew Wilson of Bethel, Lauren Brook Moore, Christopher Moore of Texas, Jarod Deanis (Tanya) of Windham, ME, Randie-Marie Smogonovich and Melissa Lynn Deanis; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by 1 step grandchild, 8 great-grandchildren.
