He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor McFarland of Union. He is survived by: his wife Jane McFarland of Rockland; his father Duane Rowell of Union; his brother Kevin (Deb); his children, Andrea Hays (John), Elizabeth Tilton (Joshua) of Hampden, David and Duane McFarland; and his stepsons, David and Phillip Andresen of Portland.
In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made in his honor to the "Volunteer Fund" at Sussman House, to keep the bird feeders and family kitchen filled.
