It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rutland in Rockport, Maine, born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Davis Rutland and Wallace Rutland; and his brother Kenneth Donald Rutland. He is survived by: his wife Holly Montgomery Rutland; his daughter Jan Rutland Sheehy (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jason Daniel Sheehy, Stephen Benjamin Sheehy and Jillian Sheehy Allen; his brothers, John Wallace Rutland, Jr. (Barbara) and Glen Davis Rutland (Sara); his mother-in-law Ann Montgomery; and his sister-in-law Lee Montgomery (John).
