William Butman Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Butman Jr. (Rockland, Maine), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Butman and Crystal Shorey Butman; and his siblings, Dorothy, Barbara Jean and John.
He is survived by: his significant other Joanne "Jo" Butman; his children, William Butman III (Robin) of Westfield, MA and Debi Cusato-Robinson (Rick) of Marlton, NJ; his grandson John of Holden, MA.; and his sisters, Cynthia Peters and Sally Gilbert. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coughlin Memorial Cemetery (14 Vienos Run, Rockland, ME 04841).
