He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter N. Davis and Mildred M. Kennedy; his son Walter, III; his grandson Shane Hooper; and his sister Beverly Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Susan F. Davis; his children, Barbie Davis-Rose (Bill Rose) of Warren, Joe Davis (Jessie Marie) of Whitefield and Scott Davis (Shawnna Rae) of Nobleboro; his grandchildren, Amanda, Keagan, Kade, Brandon, Baylee, Joe, II, Jacob, Natalie, Jaxson, Jasmine and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Saydee, Zoey, Marleigh and Benjamin. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
