He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Flanders and Betty Nelson Flanders; and his siblings, Albert, Clarence and Laura.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Shaw-Flanders; his children, Walter Flanders Jr. (Latasha) and Stacy Flanders (Jesse Gruth); his granddaughter Kaydence Flanders; and his sister Marion Flanders-Fowler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home (110 Limerock St, Rockland, ME 04841).
